I was fortunate to visit the cathedral & attend Sunday Mass at the side chapel of the cathedral. The architecture was breathtaking. You could cover the place in an hour unless you want to stay back for a mass. The mass times are available on the official website. You are allowed to take pictures inside but not during a service. All in all a majestic location & you're bound to run into friendly clergy & staff!

Two words really sum this up - Awe-Inspiring! We visited here for a crafts market being held in the cathedral and even if you weren't buying anything there's an opportunity to get to see the magnificent architecture and religious statues. It's truly mind-blowing the height and the architecture of the building itself and certainly deserves a good amount of time to fully take in everything and appreciate every nook and cranny. There are opportunities to climb to the top and take in some amazing views too.
The best cathedral / church I have seen so far. Especially for it's overall look. Obviously there are cathedrals in Italy and other parts of the world that has more art work on it and more details but because of its size and overall view this one will make your jaw drop. DEFINITELY WORTH SEEING WHILE YOU ARE IN LIVERPOOL.
Impressive building, more tourist attraction than church for my taste but definitely a must in Liverpool. I've heard from friends the view from the roof is well worth it if you can brave the height!
It was an amazing experience to visit the Liverpool Cathedral. We walked through the garden on the backside and I felt like I was in the middle of a GOT episode. The surroundings were beautiful and the building looks astonishing from the outside. I was shocked as we entered and saw how it looked from the inside. It was huge! There was so many beautiful details and special objects to observe. I can only imagine how it would be to experience an event in this cathedral.
