I took my 10 year old Kia Sportage to this garage and although the initial work was done, 2 weeks later a light was coming up on the dash. I returned with the car and upon investigation I was told that I needed a new engine! Why they went ahead with 494 euros worth of work the previous visit is beyond belief. I asked if it was safe to drive home, 50 minute journey, and was told my engine could cease. I was promised a report the following day and to this date I have had nothing to say exactly what they found. Just a rude e mail saying, as he had told me before the engine is making a noise and it needs replacing. I have taken the car to 3 other mechanics and they do not agree that the engine needs replacing. Is this a case of they didn't want to find the problem or a woman on her own who doesn't speak very good French!!!!
