One of the best burgers I had. Chicken was perfectly crunchy, the bun was warm and soft and the garnish gave the burger a unique taste. The pub has some inside and outside dinning space so it is a perfect spot for outdoor dinning in nice weather. The prices were equivalent to the quality of food. I paid 48 for 2 beers, 2 burgers and cauliflower starter, so it is not the cheapest but reasonable. The portions are big and filling. The staff was kind and the service speed decent. I had chicken burger and cauliflower poppers. The cauliflower was outstanding and it came with peanut and spicy sauce. I am giving 4 stars only becaue I was disappointed with the differences in the Menu that they have on Google maps and the one in the pub. Management please update it. I was expecting a different meal.

I like it there and the food is really great. They usually have some really good vegan choice. I just wished they had more beers.
First class pub, worth the walk up the hill. Friendly and relaxed in dealing effectively with Covid precautions, excellent beer (Badger and their own brew) and food (the freshest fish I've had for a while in fish and chips) and good choices for Sunday lunch. Out back the terrace and car park provide outdoor seating
We had a large group (11) booking for Saturday 5 September. Due to the current guidelines, the guys were more than happy to make sure we were all near one another. The service from everyone was impeccable, and they were so good with the give children. The food as always was of a high standard, the burgers were a hit with our friends who had never been to the Pelham Arms. This is by far our favourite pub out of Kent to visit when in Lewes. Keep up the fantastic work guys, we'll be heading your way again soon.
No where to park. After driving all the way out of town due to their google rating. They couldn’t give me a menu for one, as they were too busy with bookings at 18.30 on a Tuesday night. Looked like they may have been busy later, but if you can afford to turn away business because you may be busy at 19.30 but you have nothing to do right now then I’d rather spend my money elsewhere anyway. Could at least have offered some chips. A burger. Anything. No choice of real ales even though it advertises so. Better pubs to go to with much better service available. Look at the pic to see if you think they were too busy to offer food.
