We’ve spent the past 2.5 years traveling the entire country. This has been a big highlight of our trip. We loved this experience. The fact that so much here is original from 1949 is just incredible. The staff is the icing on the cake. They are all so friendly and willing to share their knowledge with you. So cool that they have an open door and you can take a look at the equipment during your visit. 10/10 you need to visit!

So we went for Tromadance this year and we were so smitten we went the very next weekend! This place is such a joy. This is during the Rona too. I mean it was perfect. Their concession stand was reasonable priced, had fun themed food, and fresh popcorn. Just an awesome atmosphere that I'm crazy stoked to see in non-rona times. The best part is the camping, just enjoy your evening and crash in a tent. Pretty, pretty, pretty nice. I can safely say that was the best wrestling show/wedding/drive-in movie I have ever been to.

I love this drive in. There are two others within a 25 min drive from me, but this is the one I go to the most often. It's not the newest, or the nicest, it has porta potties for bathrooms, it's one screen instead of two, but it's by far the coolest of the three. They show a lot of classic movies with a penchant for horror, especially \B\ horror movies. last weekend Bruce Campbell was in attendance signing autographs, and just tonight I saw the original Friday the 13th, got a photo with the man himself, and an autograph from the \1st Jason\ (who was a boy at the time of filming). Definitely worth checking out.

The best drive-in I've ever been to. Courteous, friendly and passionate staff that love classic cinema, Mahoning provides regular 2 or 3 movie packages in original film format while doubling as an amazing camping experience if you opt into the overnight package. Prices are reasonable, facilities are very pandemic friendly and the snack bar has fun and delicious options. Furthermore, Mahoning regularly features actors from the classic movies they feature for autographs and photo ops!

Last night I went to my first ever drive in movie experience and I am so glad I chose Mahoning as my first! Aside from the fact that it is well known (there is a documentary all about it called \At the Drive in\) for being the only remaining outdoor theater to still use 35mm film in the COUNTRY, it also has a gigantic screen. We came on a beautiful summer evening and it was PACKED out. (I highly recommend getting there early when gates open to get a good spot- although, the screen is so big that any vantage point is fine really). They offered concessions for cheap, and you sat outside watching the film under the starry sky and the brightly lit moon. It was a fabulous experience and I will be back for sure.
