A W E S O M E! Delicious food, great service (but be prepared to pay for it)! Highly recommended! Little tip for management: Charging for tap water is just weird. No need to decrease the customer experience with something as minor as that.

Good place with good food. You have option to taste 6 small main dishes. Just tell server to make it little faster, in other case you can spent 2 hrs while all dishes will be served with all explanation and description.

Really nice food and wines. We tried the 6 course menu and the snacks. The portions of the food is good overall, the wine paring was fantastic. The juice pairing is also going well with the foods. The staff is nice and effective. I suggest to reserve for 3 hours if you are going through the whole menu in order to enjoy every bite. Overall this place is quite good value for money.

After extensively searching for a great Danish style meal, I came across Marv & Ben. They were simple to book with, online -- I picked my reservation time, and added my details. I even received a confirmation phone call a few hours prior to confirm my visit. After arriving and finding my assignment -- I opted for the full course meal and associated wine pairings. The dishes and wine started flowing, one after the next, with full explanations about each wine and specifically chosen dish that had been prepared. The caviar was a nice touch, and paired nicely with a few dishes. The wine was splendid and I'll be searching for a few of these wines near my home The ambiance was a cheery restaurant with fantastic service. The service wanted to ensure you were enjoying every step of the way, and were happy to do so. I finished the evening with some nice desert wine, a coffee, and a stumble back to my accommodation with a full belly from a fantastic meal. When I return to Copenhagen, I'd very much like to return to this restaurant.

Very nice dining experience for a reasonable price that matched the quality of the food, wine and service well. We had the four course tasting menu with wine pairing which I can recommend. It introduced me to some new food elements and was really good. Not to mention their bread that tasted better than any bread I've tried before. Make sure to visit Marv & Ben when visiting Copenhagen!

I was staying in Copenhagen just for one evening, so spent some time choosing the restaurant and booked a table couple days in advance. This was the best combination of reasonable price and high rating - and I was happy with my choice, it is actually an amazing value. Had a 6 course dinner without wine pairing, just couple glasses of wine. All dishes were cooked super-nicely, and I liked in particular the sauces that were coming with them, they take the taste to a different level. Would give to all the courses served, especially liked trout for a started and the main of a lamb cooked for 10-12 hours at 52 degrees. just excellent dinner and doesn’t make you feel super full, so it’s a good balance of quantity, not easy to achieve. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and excellent, professional yet comfortable service. Even their bread is special - glazed with bone marrow. Dietary restrictions? They will accommodate you. We observed a difficult table being dealt with and treated professionally and courteously. Highly recommend this restaurant.
