Went here for lunch for the first time ever. I have seen this place plenty of times but never thought about going in. I am so glad that I did. The food was fantastic, they even gave me a sample of the gumbo to try and it was wonderful as well. I had the KC Po boy because it was the special today and I was not disappointed. So much food, and the Okra.....just wow, it was so good. A

I love the service here. There is a clear passion from the chef, which I deeply respect. Cajun stuff isn't high on my choice list, because I am a spice wimp. They listen to my requests, and tailored the meal just for my needs. There was a ton of food, probably enough for two meals. I will keep coming back just because of the service, cleanliness, and the passion they have.

This is going to take a couple hits. First off the prices are just to high for what you get. A lunch special being 12 and just a reg sandwich without a drink included. Regular menu prices are a little high in my opinion. To add to that I got charged a Togo fee of .27 on my order, not once, but twice. Once for the main and again for a side of sausage I added. So an up charge of .54 when I’m not even allowed to eat in because of the COVID rules. That’s just sad and not a way to take care of customers. I was excited to see a little Cajun flair up here in KC but was quite disappointed in its execution. Not at all like what you get in the big easy. The food was well prepared and tasted good, but not worth the cost or kick in the nuts. I won’t be returning.

Tried these guys for the first time last night. The food was excellent. Clean place of business, pretty fast service too. The only complaint I have, I thought for just a sandwich the price was a bit high. But I will deal with that, being the food was Excellent!! I will be back for sure. The only thing, I wish they was closer to Blue Springs.... Excellent is my grade for these guys.....
