This is the gateway to an amazing island. The terminal is only a few years old and looks good. Roomy, warm and wheelchair/mobility impaired accessible.

Everything runs smoothly and calmly. The staff are very experienced so you know you’re in safe hands. It was nice to watch the ferry coming in from the port and then when on you can get a coffee etc. Then it’s just a short trip back to the mainland. It’s best to book ahead and then be there with a decent amount of time. It can take time to get on and off the ferry but that’s to be expected. All in all things run smoothly and it’s good fun.
Great walks and good drinks and dining at the Ormidale Hotel Cruise Brasserie and Crofters
Great service. We had not booked and managed to get standby for the upcoming ferry and a ticket on the door for the next. We ended up squeezing onto the earlier ferry! The staff were also all so friendly.
Staff were really helpful and friendly... had a flat battery on the car in the pouring rain and 3 members of staff happily help out
