My husband and I have just stayed at this site for a week . It is Clean , tidy and very well run, with excellent facilities although a dog run area would have been very much appreciated by our 6month old puppy. The site wardens were very helpful and friendly. However, the site is quite isolated so unless you have a caravan or tow a car on your motorhome this is probably not the best place to stay. It is quite an unusual site with the majority of the pitches taken up by seasonal / semi residential tenants, most of whom were very friendly and welcoming. Sadly the site is on a fast main road with no footpaths. There is quite a walk to Bucklesham ( the nearest village about 20/30 minutes) There are some identified cycle routes but again you have to navigate the fast road before accessing them, ok if you are a confident cyclist but I’m not. Buses are virtually non existent meaning a 20 each way taxi trip. There is no local shop available but there is a large Tesco Extra and Aldi about 3 miles away where it is possible to park a motorhome quite easily We had a meal at The Shannon in Bucklesham and Nourish in Nutbourne ... both excellent. Felixstowe , Ipswich and Woodbridge all worth a visit

I stayed here with my husband at the weekend. The wardens were extremely helpful, directing us straight to the park and making themselves available when we had issues so arrived late, but we still had a very friendly and helpful welcome. Paul was a godsend, helping us to set up in the dark. The park is well kept and clean and lovely and quiet. The cafe on site offers good food, well cooked, I believe this is a new addition to the park. The park has a lot of seasonal pitches but we still felt welcomed by everyone one the site and will definitely come again.

Visiting the site and talking to people, along with a very brief stay, I can safley say the site is to regimental in layout, with no more then the minimum space needed. It is clear the rules that we were told are not applicable to all, and this was very evidedent in our short stay. Also exceptionally clear people live full time on the site. Not much of a community feel, and the wardens appear to not really be true to the way a caravan park should be, not the Jenny and Alan described in other reviews. Visited the other park under the same owners, 'The Oaks' and it all seems to be the same their too, people living on site as a full time home, regimental and not a friendly place to be.
