Sacred and rich in history. For some it may look like a plain field but it will definitely give you a sense of somberness. Most locals visit here to pay respects or to walk their furry companion.

Amazing and important part of history that can be seen and understood by anyone. Sympathetic to the tragedies that went on and insightful for the history boffin. A very beautiful place with an air of electricity

I went here as a child with my family and just recently went back. It still has an atmosphere surrounding the moor which I felt all those years ago. The visitor centre is set up great for the ongoing pandemic lots of sanitiser and markings. A great collection of historical trinkets and weaponry and an engrossing story is told as you walk through - a must see if your in the area.

A good walk round the battlefield taking in the history of the battle of Culloden. There is a visitors centre which you can pay to enter but is only open Wednesday to Sunday and tickets must be booked online. We went on a Sunday but all tickets were sold so just went for a walk round. Plenty of Information on hand as you walk round telling the history of the battle. Very poignant and peaceful. It is quite eerie in places as you think of what these young men went through. Would recommend a visit even if you dont get into the visitors centre it is still worth it
