We had a very positive experience with Helen the manager of the post office yesterday as she spent ages helping us with the little known “Poste Restante” service. She was really helpful and diligent and we think she should be recognised for it. Well done

The store itself looks like nothing in particular, it isn't interesting, beautiful or enticing. However, when asked to name a store offering regular quality books for a regular price I would be hard pressed to name a better chain. Always offering some sort of discount or package deals, it's my go to store for buying complete series of books (think Game of Thrones) at a reasonable price. However, be prepared to find books with small blemishes. They will usually offer a price reduction when pointed to those blemishes, when no alternative book can be found. All in all an excellent alternative to more expensive bookstores.
Much more space and clearer aisles now that the post office is within the store. Looks much better, less cluttered
Post office seemed a lot busier than when it was stand alone, but the girl at the till of the shop was very pleasant and took my money willingly
Nice to see an old classic shop hanging on in the high street, been in there a few time lately, lovely staff always eager to help.
