Carolyn was absolutely amazing during all of our experiences with Bill Childs. We were originally getting married in June 2020 but had to postpone due to Covid and then planned the wedding in 3 weeks for October! This involved a complete theme change and a change of suit, Carolyn was amazing and so accommodating. This wasn’t just with the suit, she was such a positive inspiration throughout the whole covid wedding experience!! The suit was amazing but the service was outstanding!! We can’t wait to come back to choose the suits for the bridal party for the big celebration when we’re allowed it! Thank you ️

Don’t pay any attention to any reviews that aren’t 4/5 stars; the team at Bill Child are exceptionally helpful and professional. They are passionate and very knowledgeable in what they do. We got married 2 weeks ago and the entire process was very simple and all the suits looked amazing! Communication throughout the booking/hiring process was also very good.
The attention to our requirements for the men's suits on our special day was unlike any other and the comfort and ease when explaining and making our choice was reassuring and welcoming. We chose to purchase my husbands suit from here and hire the waistcoats and suits for the other guys. This flexible approach really eased the strain on our suit selection and meant we were able to get the exact outfit/style we wanted for our grooms party and they looked amazing.The staff were a pleasure to deal with and couldn't be more helpful. Would return in a heartbeat and fully recommend to others. Thanks again guys :)
Had an amazing experience hiring an evening suit for my husband from Bill Child Dress Wear. They couldn’t help us more this was made especially difficult as my husband works away and could not get to the shop to try the suit on. Highly recommend.
Edit: A member of staff from this shop called me this week asking why I left a 1 star review and no comment. I started to explain why and was fronted with a tirade of abuse. As I explained to her I failed to see the purpose of her call. Whether it was to obtain feedback to better her business or to just have a pop at a bad review. Everything I listed as an issue she told me it was my fault. It was my responsibility to make sure the suit was in good condition. I let her know that I didn't think it was the customer's job to do that. She told me she has over 1000 suits a week going out and can't possibly check the quality of them! I suggested she had her resourcing priorities wrong. If you use bill child's formal wear, Expect to receive a suit, don't expect it to be of good quality or even clean! God forbid if you go back and make a complaint! I hope the management of bill child's formal wear are satisfied now that I have left a comment explaining my frustration. Personally if it was my business I'd rather the explanation wasn't there for potential customers to see. If you are planning the best day of your life, I think it's best to go somewhere else and save on the abuse, the shoddy dirty suits, the mismatched goods and the over charging. I am however expecting a reply to this comment denying all of these points and mentioning that I ended the call abruptly. I did end the call abruptly as I didn't want to face any more abuse and accusation of lies. Further edit in response to comment: The groom was over charged by 20.00 not 7.50. He was charged for neckwear and shoe hire. Further edit: Asking your staff to write fake 5* reviews in order to up you average is illegal.
