Beautiful place but way more difficult of access than reviews lead you to believe. At least if you are with children, I just couldn't see how to get down safely with them, particularly the last part where you need to go down, maybe 10 meters using a rope. Don't let my review deter you though, without the kids, I would have thought it was well worth the effort.

Just the most incredible beach. We took our 4 kids, youngest is 2, and it was a challenge to hike down the last bit-- a baby carrier is very helpful as it requires a bit of two handed rope/rock scrambling. Beach is totally worth it though, fewer ppl because of the hike. Just stunning.
What an incredible, off the beaten track beach. At one point we were the only people on one part of the beach. Very peaceful and a great place for a dip.
Away from the madding crowd. Beautiful sandy beach. A bit of a scramble down to the cove but there is a rope to steady yourself on the steep part by the beach. The sand can disappear at high tide but the tide comes in slowly and it's easy not to get cut off- just stay within reach of the entrance to the beach. Check tide times.
Don't go out of your way to come here. It's a small beach, with no parking and poor access, that disappears completely at high tide. Stick to Kennack Sands.
