We had a cruise lunch for 2 pax, which took 90 minutes. I must mention that the restaurant staff was friendly and tried their best but were horribly understaffed to offer any service. The food was basic at best, the historical narration tape was too loud to have a conversation and everything was late and under capacity. The route in itself is nice and on sunny weather the cruise is a nice and easy thing to experience. Just be ready for queues, bad food and angry patrons if planning on eating or having a drink.

It is very easy to travel by ferry, just buy a ticket that is valid for any type of transportation. The ferry leaves every fifteen minutes. Helsinki is the most beautiful town to visit. Thanks for having me Finland!
It was a last minute decision, but turned out to be OK. We went on a sunny day, enjoyed the ride. The boat was not crowded, made it easer to go from one side to another and take photos from different angels.
Boat trip to Porvoo takes around 3h, 3h stay at Porvoo and 3h back. Boat is actually going from Kauppatori so this adress in google is not the one you should go. Salmon soup is included to the price and on the way back you can have small but rasty buffet. Boat has a bar which serves also alcoholic beverages. Even it was a windy day the boat was not rocking too much, the views were stunning and there was just about enough exlanations about the sights on the way in Finnish and English. They also have various other cruises but trip to Porvoo was just perfect.
No service. Seats have been wet and information about availability of headsets and audio guide were not provided by the staff at all. The staff is obviously annoyed by all the tourists and guests.
You do not have to reserve a seat in advance in Royal Cruise Line. If they still have seats available, you can enter in and that was what I did. I also tried their Finnish buffet at around 20 as an option. The cruise was 1.5 hours around the Suomenlinna island. It is more interesting if the cruise allows you to get off and tour around the island.
The boat is simply sailing on the water, it doesn't get close to islands, neither stops at major points. The tour guide doesn't say much, plus he does it in 3 different languages that makes you hear all of them. Boring and nothing really to see besides water and trees on the islands around. Don't waste your time.
