Really impressed with this store today 05/06/20 Walked in and welcomed by a member of staff at the till, after losing my trust in shopping in big supermarkets I came upon this store which had brilliant guidelines and a one way system. Very impressed with their staff specially a gentleman called Stephen who helped me with checking if a product was in stock upstairs. Will definitely be coming back very soon! Thank you Arnold’s crew
After having been to Tesco to see nothing on their shelves and people running round like mad men it immediately sent anxiety rushing through me and i just left. Upon arriving to Arnold's after i was pleased to see the door handles being sprayed down by a young lady who was also wearing latex gloves. The gentleman working with her was also wearing gloves which was calming to see at a time like this (people practicing personal hygiene). I was immediately welcomed upon arrival by the young lady who carried on instigating conversation whilst I was paying. I left feeling hopeful that the world still had some sanity left and actually that those like that young lady are the ones who are keeping peoples liveliness high at times like this.
Never again. Brought a car 4 years ago from them. Turbo went after less than a year. Took it back and after an argument about how they sold the car and under what warranty they eventually owned up that they messed up. This was after threatening legal action. They replaced the turbo and the car stuttered. Took it back about 5 times and they said that they couldn’t find a problem. Every drive home I could feel the issue. Ended up taking it else where to get a new turbo fitted properly and forked out of my own pocket. Avoid at every cost!
