A lovely ruin. Interesting bit of history attached. But there isn't much here to explain beyond the basic. It looks really cool being built into the hill.

Such beautiful haunting place, today was first time in daylight going as I've been before at night paranormal investigating both times this historic place is a beautiful gem and never fails to amaze me
Old hunting lodge which is preserved well. Not much to do apart from see the ruin. Local pub called castle Inn is OK. Quite up market but nice if you want to spend the money. There is parking here and good paths around the site.
What a great little gem, Very easy to walk around, a number of information boards to keep you in informed. Lovely place for a picnic. No real car park, but plenty of space in the village just over the wall.
Of the walls of this place could speak...lovely atmosphere, well preserved castle ruins....going back to 13 century
