I never usually leave reviews containing negative feedback but I feel utterly compelled to do so regarding Hat Box Hire I found my experience most upsetting as the hat I hired was in a very sorry state. I contacted the proprietor as soon as I arrived home and discovered the damages. It was very difficult to see the true extent in the barn as the lighting was very limited. On returning the item the following day, the proprietor became exceedingly defensive and abrupt with me! It was very clear that it did not warrant the 45.00 hire fee and that the hat was in desperate need of some TLC. Her manner in handling the situation was both shocking and distressing I am saddened to say I won't be using or recommending Hat Box Hire ever again I have found an alternative, very helpful hat hire company whom were only to happy to assist me Good manners cost nothing
