Very good service. We won’t know how to eat the food properly without the guidance of the friendly staff. The chicken and beef are well flavored and the vegetables are really nice but the bread is too sour for us. The price is reasonable too.

Just had takeaway (16 Jan 2021) from Habesha and it was just as good as eating in (except the Ethiopian/Eritrean beers!) The spicy beef and fine cottage cheese of the special kitfo, the tender lamb of the yebeg wot and homely carrot and cabbage are amazing. And of course the sour flatbread injera is like nothing else. Worth a local journey for this takeaway!
I love this place. I have eaten here regularly over the years and the food is consistently amazing. The gentleman who does the front of house is always lovely, the food is so tasty and excellent value for money. I have brought many people here and all of them really enjoy it. It is very welcoming and friendly- I highly recommend it.
Absolutely delicious food. It was busy (seems to be so at the weekends) but you can have a chat and just eat and drink. Amazing prices for the quality of food and the staff are incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend a visit here. It's a little confusing to find if you've never been, but the spiral staircase in the takeaway downstairs leads you up onto the second floor with the restaurant. Open even if takeaway isn't, due to separate doors which is very handy. Would recommend to anyone. They have both veggie and meat options and the veggie options seem safe for vegan (do check before ordering!) We will surely be back and bringing friends to enjoy!
