An independently run, fully equipped working pottery studio and gallery displaying an exclusive array of unique pottery and ceramic sculpture. Aptly named ‘Clay Cottage’ the old boarded up building, disused since 1965, has been transformed into an artist’s dream.  The showroom displaying handmade pottery and ceramics  gallery is open to the public. Pop in to find that unique handmade gift. If you fancy having a go yourself - See Classes Vouchers  also available for a unique and memorable experience on the Potter’s wheel - popular for 9th Wedding Anniversaries. All the pottery is hand made on the premises either on the potter’s wheel or hand built using traditional craft skills and techniques before being decorated by hand and finally fired in electric kilns.  Small batches of individual pots are created to ensure an ever changing stock for sale in the gallery. Bespoke commissions welcome You can find us tucked just around the corner from Freeman Street at Wellington Street traffic lights, next door to Middleton’s Glass.
