Called here twice on our holiday..Free parking, lovely walk around the Castle walls.Nice to sit and have a picnic. Lovely walk down to the water, fantastic for crabbing. Our puppy loves to have a little swim near the bridge. Fab pub at the end of the walk with a great beer garden.

Beautiful place calm serene and if you walk quietly along Braydon water full of birds and wildlife. Quite busy in the summer and deeply peaceful in the winter months. Love to imagine the Roman boats moored up at the front unloading goods from Italy and slaves from their conquests. Each piece of that wall was placed 1700 years ago and before the Romans I’m sure families lived there. Great for family picnic

A beautiful historical place to visit along the Norfolk coast. It gives us chance for a nice walk along the river with a beautiful scenic view.

Always love visiting English heritage sites we are yearly subscribers to them. Burgh castle was really nice I especially recommend the little church next to it as well very big place to walk around and dogs are allowed some people need to keep their dogs on a lead though as you are supposed to keep them under control at all times while walking around this site, normally I wouldn't mind if I was alone without my dog but I had two big dogs approach mine the guy had no control over them and my dog felt threatened

Amazing roman ruin. Beautiful scenery. Great place for a walk. Good car park. Information boards and signposted routes. Mostly flat, but steps down to the river. All well maintained.
