Had a procedure done here and for the first year I was absolutely in the best place possible (health wise), a further 6 months later and I was in perpetual agony on a daily basis and still am to present day, when I left the hospital the stitches came out the following day and I was told by my surgeon not to worry the stitch had probably done it’s job by now, I left the hospital under a course of antibiotics due to possible infection and as soon as the course was done bang I was ill, had coldsores,infection,sickness, set in and had to go to my own NHS hospital for advice, I firmly believe the procedure was done to a standard where I would at some point need to return, and in turn to obviously spend more money, USE THIS HOSPITAL AT YOUR OWN PERIL, GO ELSEWHERE EVEN IF MORE EXPENSIVE, QUALITY OF LIFE CANT REALLY HAVE A PRICE PUT ON IT

I have just received a total hip replacement at Nuffield hospital glasgow, and my experience throughout from consultation to admission to surgery was very professional, the nursing staff and everyone concerned were brilliant, my whole experience was very relaxed, and a special thanks to the surgeon.

Wish I had never set foot in the Glasgow Nuffield. Absolute shambles of a hospital. I had Ivf treatment here, they have since merged with another hospital. They failed to carry out compulsory blood tests at the start of my treatment. This resulted in complications and lasting emotional trauma which will last a lifetime for me. So, regardless of whether the fertility clinic is still here or not, I am still living with the consequences of their actions. They actually offered me counselling in the same building where I had my treatment! I don't think ANY of the staff that I dealt with actually have a conscience. The fertility staff may have moved to another building but I have had many dealings with the current director. I put in a complaint and never even got an explanation nor an apology. The director is rude and quite frankly does not care and lacks compassion. Let's hope you don't have to deal with her as you won't get anywhere. Took this hospital over 4 months to obtain my hospital file, which meant I had missed the date for taking this matter further. How convenient! Oh but the file was 'off site' was the excuse for that matter! Incompetence at it's best. Lie after lie after lie and they brush everything under the carpet. Disgusted with this hospital and the staff I had dealings with, wish I had never stepped foot in this hospital. I do not recommend this hospital.
