This is a beautiful new private hospital which opened in 2019. It is like a five star hotel inside. The staff - Reception , doctors and nurses are excellent. The medical team are technically first class and both warm and kind. Everyone speaks good English. Being treated abroad is always a concern when one is used to the UK NHS. We just turned up and my wife was seen quickly and treated promptly. The outpatient follow up has been equally professional. As private patients we found the charges very reasonable indeed. We come to Madeira frequently. It is good to know that such a first class facility as this hospital exists.

Liguei para saber sobre se havia urgência pediatria, a qual me foi dito que só as 9 da manhã, após perguntar qual a situação expliquei que o meu filho estava com febre que não baixava com a medicação, a jovem do outro lado basicamente disse que como aquilo era um dos sintomas de covid não deveria levar a criança... Então um hospital serve para quê mesmo? Se tiver tosse, febre e ou outro sintoma covid já é um pária da sociedade? Muito mau atendimento

Ich benötigte für meinen Flug nach Deutschland einen COVID-Test: Kontakt, Buchung des Tests per Email und Online-Bezahlung waren sehr professionell. Der Test vor Ort fand aus dem Auto heraus statt, der Ablauf war gut organisiert. Das Testergebnis kam nach ca. 12 Stunden.
