Similar experience to Val Conway's review, being hung up on. My daughter purchased her new home and getting the keys after completion she went to move in only to find an imposter there. She was frightened and was left homeless for the weekend. Untimely as the solicitors and estate agents had closed for the weekend, but at this point it is not a civil matter as the contract was complete, she was the new homeowner. She had waited outside in the freezing cold afraid to enter her new home. I called the police on her behalf - the operator said it was a civil matter and to call the solicitor on Monday. I explained that this is her home and she has already vacated her previous home and was expecting to move in having taken time off work. The young girl on the phone was incredibly rude and unprofssional. Her language skills were likened to how teenager would talk, I asked to speak with her superviser and she said hold on 2 secs.. then HUNG UP! Disgraceful. How does it matter if my daughter only purchased the house that day or had owned it for 10 yrs, there was an imposter there. Seems folk gan get away with anything these days.
