Quite simply, the best meal I have ever had. Not only this, but the whole experience itself is truly unique and very special. Matt's knowledge and delicate understanding and awareness of the foraging environments and the ingredients themselves is both impressive and touching. Matt is also an extremely nice chap to boot, just a super interesting day! As educational as the foraging itself was, it's the meal itself that's the star of the show, it's simply out of this world. Don't be fooled by the photos though, there is a lot of food coming your way! Everything is cooked to perfection with incredibly fine attention to detail. A truly amazing experience in every sense of the word and I simply cannot recommend this enough. Huge thanks to Matt and Naomi for a fantastic day.

My Girlfriend and I had a fantastic day with Matt. We met with him and one other couple at his home before heading off to the woodlands for mushroom foraging. Matt, having worked as a chef in michelin* restaurants is highly knowledgeable when it comes to which plants, herbs and fungi can be used in the kitchen. After the woodlands we went to an estuary and then the seaside to gather a wide variety of ingredients. The foraging was both fun and very educational due to Matt’s wealth of knowledge. In the evening we returned to Matt’s home where he cooked us a feast using mostly the ingredients we had foraged that day. The food was sublime, especially taking into consideration that fine dining restaurants have a team of chefs where as Matt did almost everything alone. Highly recommended; fantastic experience all round.
Excellent day out with Matt, who is very knowledgeable about not only foraging but also wildlife, including trees and birds. Myself and my partner met Matt at his base, before going foraging in some woodland for mushrooms. We were delighted to find some chanterelles. We then headed to a beautiful beach where we found, tasted and collected all manner of seaweeds, before heading to collect some estuary plants on the way back to Matt's place. Dinner in the evening was fantastic - all the elements were very carefully thought out, beautifully presented and the methods explained to us in detail. Tried a lot of new things which we never would've thought about eating. Overall a fantastic experience in a beautiful Pembrokeshire setting.
Really enjoyed our day out foraging. Beautiful location on the pembrokeshire coast and really interesting foraging for the seaweed and other plants for dinner. Very knowledgable about the local area. Great for the adults and child attending. 3 different foraging locations. Matt is a friendly man and is a superb chef. The food tasted amazing and was very plentiful. It was interesting to see how matt presents his food we foraged. Michelin star quality but in more comfortable surrounds.
Had an amazing experience last month with Matt foraging around Pembroke in West Wales. Was excellent to see food we had gathered end up on our plates that evening in a Michelin Star worthy tasting menu. Totally recommend if you have a passion for food and the outdoors, thank you Matt!
