Great place for a family visit. Fun for kids as it has various wooden hares, bridges, a piano, a squirrel, lots of artificial blackbirds and many other animals and objects hidden around to spot. When the flag is up then it is open for a fee of 1 and free for kids. Red squirrel spotted here once.

Just a few minutes walk from the Market Place is a charming woodland with quirky sculptures for you to find. Have some fun seeking out 22 blackbirds (2 live in the tower), the buzzard, Lord Berners in a tree, the fairly useless bridge and many more. The woodland is always open. The Folly Tower opens 1st and 3rd Sundays between April and October.

Lovely place for a walk. The views are amazing and it’s really nice for a walk. Unfortunately we didn’t see any of the giraffes this time but hopefully we’ll have more luck next time
