I'm sure it's not as bad as it looks, but had my dog booked in to stay and when we took him there the place was dirty, absolutely stunk. Not to be rude it's just not that place I wanted to leave my dog so we didn't. It could be a nice place but at first impressions I wouldn't recommend it

I have had 4 dogs over the past 24 years board at Lone Valley Kennels and we have never had a problem, we have only experienced love and care for our dogs. Recently our very small, young dogs have boarded for the first time for 12 days, my partner and I were nervous but they came back full of beans and, the boy who doesn't take to new people well, absolutely loved everyone who took care of him (a true miracle)!! The girl is a fussy eater when my partner and I are away and Lone Valley gave her extra TLC and ate like normal!! We will gladly bring our dogs back to Lone Valley Kennels over and over again. Thank you again for everything.
Went to view these kennels for our 3 little dogs. To say I was shocked was an understatement. All dogs in outdoor pens which were cold and bare and exposed to the elements. All they had was their water bowl and a couple of dogs had a toy. Asked about the heating as it was a cold rainy , windy day and told they sometimes put the heaters on but dogs fur was warm enough. They open the hatch to let them go into the back for their bedding in the evening. So lying on a bare cold concrete floor is what they will be doing apart from getting out in the garden once ( field) / once/ twice which has to be coordinated with big/ small dogs or owners requests. Honestly, felt sorry for the dogs, they were pacing or just looking through the bars. Prison cells would look like an upgrade!
Extremely disorganised. When I collected our dog the young girl said that she was on her own with 20 dogs which is why she did not respond to my phone calls that morning. She then admitted the owners were away for two weeks. My dog had a yellow stain on his fur and was sick after returning home. Will never use again.
Never mind the bad reviews this place is class, I left my 1 year old lab here for a week and he was absolutely fine. Also the staff were lovely
