Love Haddo Country Park, so many lovely walks and views. It was heaving with wild life, butterflies, damsel flies, lots of squirrel sign ( though none seen on this visit). If you are extremely lucky you might even get to see an Osprey take a trout from the lake. Great play area for the children.

This well kept estate, which spreads over many acres, is a lovely place to visit and take in the formal gardens, mature trees, forestry and great walks. Pop into the newly refurbished cafe or have a wander round the National Trust gift shop. If the sun is shining, spread a blanket on the grass for a traditional picnic in the park in front of the main house. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on the lead. The formal gardens and fountain are bursting with colour when everything is in bloom, and there are two towering magnificent cedar trees - planted by Queen Victoria and her beloved Prince Albert. Equally photogenic when the trees are wearing their autumnal colours and perhaps you can catch a glimpse of the red squirrels. There are regular guided tours inside the main house and, throughout the year, there are many art & craft fairs, musical and theatrical productions, as well as a host of other events to go to. Well worth a visit and plenty of free parking space.

Great place for walks. If you have a push chair it gets a little difficult around the lake due to no qpebbled path and it was very boggy when we was their.
