Generally nice accommodation and good location in Edinburgh. However, if you can't deal with noises. I don't suggest staying here as the walls are quite thin and you can actually hear people talking and different noises from the next room and upstairs and it can get pretty annoying sometimes. I’m in flat 99 and my name is Iengfong Sou so should be able to find me on the system. Doesn’t mean to be a negative review but just some information for people.

Hi, I've been living here since September 2016. The location is fantastic with easy access to all educational institutions, historic sites, entertainment (movies, clubs, restaurants), parks, shopping, and transit. The building itself is new and well-maintained, with professional, friendly and helpful staff. Well designed private rooms with great study, kitchen and bath space, as well as inviting public spaces. Well-designed security features as well. Whether you're a baccalaureate, graduate or doctoral students, it's an amazing place to live while studying in Edinburgh.

After almost a year of living at Elliott House, I am confident this is one of the best student accommodations in Edinburgh. Modern building, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and very good value for the money. I wish I would have discovered this place at the beginning of my postgraduate studies. I can honestly recommend this place to any student.

Nice place, great people! I came here in February 2017 for a semester abroad and I was really glad to having found an accommodation in the middle of the academic year. Elliott House itself is very new and so is the furnishing in the well-equipped studios. The available space in the studios is used very smart to make space for your stuff. The staff is really friendly and whatever problem you have, they will sort it out promptly. They also help socialising by arranging afternoon teas, movie nights or game nights. Our common room is a great place to meet other tenants, it is well-resourced with sofas, a TV, a vending machine, games,... and there is also space for studying. I can highly recommend Elliott House to any student coming to Edinburgh, you get a nice place to stay and the possibility to make friends with people from all over the world :)

Elliott House is a fantastic place to live and I highly recommend it to any student in Edinburgh. Its clean, quiet and has everything you need. Its 15 minutes walk from Princes Street and 5 from a Tesco metro. Its on all the major bus routes to university campuses and you can get anywhere in the city from the near bus stops. The staff are amazing and arrange themed nights and coffee afternoons. They listen with any suggestions and are such an asset to the accommodation.
