SHOULD REALLY BE ZERO STARS - worst customer service ever! Do not use this company. We chose The Patio District to build our pergola because of glowing reviews online and an impressive showroom where salespeople are attentive, helpful, and eager to share photos of beautiful completed projects. Within two days, we had a salesperson visit our home and draw up designs for our dream project. Our salesperson, Carlos, was friendly, quick to respond to our calls and texts, and eager to help us. We signed our contract in August, designs were submitted for permitting to the city, and within a week, our project was approved. What started out as a smooth and easy process took a turn for the worse with delay after delay in the construction process. Incorrectly sized parts for the structure - steel brackets and wood beams - were delivered, delaying the project multiple times. The Patio District never took responsibility for these delays, and always blamed their subcontractors. Carlos, our charming salesman, promised our project - which also included an outdoor kitchen - would be complete in less than two months. It's been almost six months and we still have a portion of the project incomplete and in need of repair. Repeated phone calls to the company owner, Freddy, have been pointless. Freddy has told us multiple times they're sending someone to our house - and either they never show up, or they show up for five minutes and leave. This back and forth has been going on for at least two months with no resolution. Multiple emails for status updates are ignored, as are our phone calls to the office staff and our salesperson. What an incredible disappointment. Avoid the headache of having to deal with this extremely unprofessional and careless company.

I just did a Pergola with The Patio District. The Experience was excellent. The Project was on time and their Operations Team was great. The teams sent to my house to do the job were very professional and courteous. I really liked their customer response time and their attention to details. I highly recommend The Patio District if you want to do a Quality Job in your residence.
As a recent customer of TPD, the Pergola that we had installed was great addition to our home. Carlos our sales rep Dayana on the operations side of thing and the crew were all professional and easy to talk to. The process took a little longer than expected for a variety of reasons but nonetheless it was completed and we are happy with the results. If there were any questions or concerns that I had during he process they were quickly addressed and taken care of. I can appreciate the level of courtesy and concern that was given given to us over this process.
I’m not into reviews, I actually find many of them are not useful to the people looking for what kind of experience previous customer have had, now, this time is just fair and necessary that I take my time to write a review because this company, The Patio District, did an amazing job in my patio, I have nothing but good things to say about the level of professionalism, the level of customer service and response that I received throughout the whole process from the estimate to the end of the job, they were all great, Dayanna, Santiago, Jose the electrician, I mean I can’t remember every name but they all new what to do and when to do it, my family can’t be happier with the final product and that is all you can ask for. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone that ask me, these guys deserve it. Wish them the best in future which should be huge for them!!!
If you expect speedy responses from The Patio District, you will not get it. If you expect your permits to be promptly and accurately completed, they will not be. I solicited this business to build a pergola in my terrace, they do not answer the phone AT ALL, the permits are incorrectly done, they are extremely unprepared. The city inspector has come twice, the first time the workers of The Patio District did not have any papers prepared for the inspector, the second time the papers were not complete. They drag their feet to avoid resolving issues with permits. They are currently not responding to emails, texts, or phone calls. It is very obvious no one knows what they are doing, as the salesperson, supervisor, and secretary all give different answers when they finally decide to answer the phone. The work they slowly complete is done poorly. Steve, the supervisor, is unable and unwilling to do his job. They make empty promises that they will never fulfill. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GIVING YOUR MONEY TO THE PATIO DISTRICT
