Had cod and mushy peas. Shared chips with hubby. Quantity was just spot on. The quality was excellent. Little on the expensive side but I don't mind that if the quality is good. It was that meaty fish you expect, not that wet fish that you know has been frozen. And the batter, I tend to leave a lot of batter due to the soggyness. Is that a word. But I just couldn't resist eating the lot, do crispy but not too much, just enough to compliment the cod. We did eat them in the car park too. Smelled so good with the sachet of salt and vinegar on. Highly recommended but like I said bit pricey. But for quality well worth it. The staff very welcoming and polite. Thank you Whitby's.stay safe Will be coming again.

Finally got around to having takeaway fish and chips from here. Nicely boxed up. The fish and chips were pretty good and came with plastic forks, sachets of vinegar and salt.

Not been to Whitby’s for a while but we had a takeout tonight. To say we are very disappointed we were is an understatement. The quality was ok but there was hardly any food in the box an was still hungry after it. Fishbits so much better value for money
