This restaurant is a well keep secret, in my opinion. It was my first time but definitely not my last. The staff was excellent, everything clean & all were masked & following CDC guidelines & it we set far between other guests. I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes & green beans. I also had the bread pudding for dessert. For appetizers, our table ordered the fried green tomatoes & the deviled eggs. Everything was delicious. I'll always go midweek because it was just right for me.

We went to this spot last night, and for the most part enjoyed ourselves. We walked in around 8:15 (they closed at 9), and really enjoyed our food! Delicious chicken with a heavier spice mix, kind of a more traditional fried chicken taste. The only reason I won’t give this place 5 stars is that they started playing all these “goodbye” songs at the end of the night, presumably to get customers to leave as I’m sure they wanted to go home. I just thought it was a little rude, as they turned up the music louder than they had it previously been, and started playing these sound around 8:50, not even when they were officially “closed”. We left right after 9 but there were still people inside. Just rubbed me the wrong way! I would still recommend, just don’t go around closing. Our waiter Caleb was super nice.

When I say \THE LORD IS GOOD!\, HE shonuf is good!! Whew chile!!!! This is THE TRUTH!! I ain't lying!! We need STREET'S FINE CHICKEN in Kansas City!!! Both the Missouri side and the Kansas side....FOR REAL!!

Good chicken and atmosphere. Nice location and quick service for those in uptown. We were in and out within 39 minutes but the food tasted like it was slow cooked just for us.

Food was good. Service was good.. drinks were a little pricey.. but i guess i was downtown.. so i expected that.. desert was amazing..
