We have been residents of Cowes for one year and on the odd dealings we have dealt with the surgery, we have always had a professional and courteous service. It may take a couple of tries to get through during busy periods, however we also understand the pressures that all medical services have and continue to face. Well done to all the staff at Cowes Medical Centre. A big thumbs up from our household.

During Covid I don’t wish to visit the surgery for both our sakes. But, at least answer the phone or recruit more staff. After forty-five minutes of trying to get the phone answered, I’ve given up. To get summarily cut-off after six rings, without explanation is maddening. The initial voice message is pointless -which basically tells you to ring for an appointment — then after six rings it cuts you off. If you can’t get through how can your ring for an appointment . This is not caused by bad doctors but by poor practice management. Invest in more admin staff and better phone systems. Now I intend to visit the surgery and ask my questions via the desk staff - If I can…….
Awful service, no one ever answers the phone even if you call 10/15 times a day. None of the doctors are ever working apart from Chopra who is terrible.. I’ve never seen my actual GP in person and when you do get through its weeks and weeks waiting.. they prefer you to use 111 so thats what I do now. Useless.
I have always had excellent service even though I work long hours they always return my calls and are able sometimes at short notice to provide the aproprite service, its easy for people to write criticism but people often forget to write praise.
Phoned up and got threw on my second attempt..
