First time trying this chippy and was well impressed. Good sized bit of cod with nice crispy batter. All the food was really fresh and the tarter and curry sauce were perfect.

All food cooked seperately so no cross contamination for veggies and vegans. Which I have struggled to find previously Staff welcoming, friendly and chatty. Very clean and the food was not only presented impressively but it tasted amazing. Highly recommend and will definately return thank you :)
fish & chips experience on Friday night - batter was soggy, fish was not skinned properly, chips were not the best cut and little dry.
Updated. It states improvements necessary on food hygiene. 2 out of 5 stars. Ordered through Deliveroo and the food arrived in about 15-20 minutes! We were an item short on the order. As this was something that was not packed, it was a fault from the shop. Not Deliveroo. I called the shop to explain and the manager stated that I’d have to contact Deliveroo as they had no drivers. I explained it was his issue and that I would like the missing item delivered. He said he would deliver it at 10pm once they were closed. When I said this was unacceptable he hung up! Very poor service and very rude! The food was bland and together with a very bad service, I’d seek other places for fish and chips!!
Should have read the reviews before ordering. DONT NOT ORDER THROUGH DELIVEROO with this lot. They don't know what they're doing! 1 hour, 45 minutes (so far) for fish and chips, I literally could have cooked it quicker. Food still hasn't arrived. Joke of a business, absolute clowns.
