Great store, great prices. Cheaper than B&Q in most things. Has a good sale on paint which is amazing quality compared to most home brands. Always try wickes before anywhere else. Staff friendly and helpful too.

Staff could be knowledgeable on some items. Bought a gate, it already had a hinge pack, but when questioned a member of staff didn't know. Ended up taken the pack I bought back to store.

Product had missing parts. Terrible service. Bought Wickes Tyne Aluminium Glazed Back Door from Caerphilly store. My local branch had none available at the time. Package came with parts missing. My local branch is only 0.5 miles away. The Caerphilly store, which is 10 miles away, would rather me wait 3-4 days to receive the missing parts from their suppliers instead of letting me pick up the missing parts from the store that is 0.5 miles away. Whoever is in charge of the customer service department, you need to sort yourselves out.

Wickes is not too bad, the prices are rather high and the staff generally know about diy and trade matters. Not too bad overall but the kitchens area is simply a joke we had a guy called Leigh who said that wickes kitchens are the same as magnet and that he does not sell rubbish, he could not sell a kitchen for less than 7k. The quality is not quite as good as b and q and the guarantee of only 7 years on most items kind of reflects this. With the sales guys attitude and the slight less quality it lost wickes our business in one swoop. Staff are nice and they do try hard to please.
