Went there with my mum to get a quote for some wood for a home project, I had all my measurements etc, but the guy was incredibly unfriendly, just couldn't be bothered, didn't even look at us (we were the only customers there). You might have better luck if you're a bloke (he was that type). We left the wood, went out to get something for our door off the shelf. The guy who was going around picking up items for customers was the complete opposite, really friendly, couldn't be more helpful. This wasn't enough to erase the bad attitude of the first guy, so I'd give this place a miss. Prices weren't competitive compared to the diy store we eventually bought our wood from (they also had free cutting service). Shame really, we've lived just around the corner from this place for 40 years, and we'd be regulars if they had decent customer service.
