Booking an appointment is just impossible! called !145! times, started at 14:00 and I could finally get in the queue at 14:38 (number 5 in the queue) and I had to wait further 10 minutes for somebody to answer. The battery in my phone went down by 40%, wasted almost an hour to be told there is no more available appointments. Its frustrating!! The phone system at this surgery gives patients the anxiety!

The Midwife service here was great, but this is the only good thing about this surgery. I found the receptionists were very rude & not helpful & this was not a one off. Their people skills left a lot to be desired. I am a qualified health professional myself & I have never had to put up with such poor professionalism. Due to this i have now left this surgery.

I needed to see a Dr, I called just after 9am to request a telephone consultation, was number 5 in the queue which quickly moved. No problem getting appt, Dr called me back an hr or so later. Discussed issue and short course of tablets prescribed. Collected prescription in the afternoon and had filled at pharmacy. Very efficient service, receptionist and Dr both polite and courteous. Happy with service, would definitely use the consultation service again if needed.

If you are exceptionally lucky to get through to make an appointment then you will get through to some excellent doctors. But the chances of seeing one are so slim make it exceptionally frustrating. Call at eight and it is often about 9.45 when you get through to be told to try again at 2pm. All I can say is, if you really need to see a doctor, you’ve got a very very slim chance of ever being seen.. a very demoralising experience.

Feel awful for saying this but they're really making a good job of doing a bad job. Lost count of the times I've had to chase prescriptions just to be told 'oh yes it hasn't been done'...this is after trying many times on the phone and going back and forth between chemist and drs. I email for a response but was told they don't have time to email. I only want a quick response which would take seconds. Even a 'please contact the surgery' if there was a problem with the request would be helpful but this does not happen. The hospital sent a letter weeks ago instructing the surgery to write a prescription for my daughter. I kept going to the chemist to check but nothing had been done. I finally got through today and was told it hadn't been done but they had received the letter. So what happens then unless I chase ?...the answer is nothing ! They must generate a lot of unecessary work caused by people having to constantly chase. It's so stressful having to deal with this surgery sadly. I have registered with the NHS app but am umable to book repeat prescriptions or appts with this surgery via the app.
