THEY FIND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE A SIMPLE INSTRUCTION ...AS IN CHANGING AN ADDRESS

Shockingly inept, just another example of a UK institution failing the people miserably.
Impossible to speak to anyone here. No one answers the phone and then they automatically cut you off after 10 minutes. A joy to pay tax for....
unbelievably bad set of deputy district judges who makes Orders to be complied with at a future date that have been done months before. they will not allow anybody to go to the court without a prior appointment and what they consider a very good reason. Avoid them like the plague. They also control Lewes and Worthing County Courts.
Like all courts this court has to deal with all-comers. Some who know what they are doing and a lot who have not got a clue nor a penny to spend on legal advice (or even a bus fare to the citizens advice). And many people used to just turn up to shout how unfair the whole system is. Hence the need for appointments. They will give you an appointment if you have a good reason for face to face meeting. Otherwise do it by post (or on-line now). I have generally found the court staff to be very helpful and informative. But one must remember they cannot give legal advice - although they can award damages! :0)
