According to Little League rules, these two leagues, which had been operating together, findally consolidated into one league, North Boise Little League, effective 2007. North Boise Little League encompasses much of the Boise North End. It extends southward to take in much of Garden City. To the West it includes areas surrounding Glenwood Junior High, and its Northern boundaries extend to the northern edge of Boise's population. The league has two main fields it maintains. The Hillside Baseball complex, part of Boise City parks system and next to Hillside Junior High School, includes a 90 foot junior-senior baseball diamond, a 60 foot diamond for players up through age 12, and a 60 foot softball diamond. A \snack shack\ is operated during Spring and Summer baseball games by league volunteers. The park itself is inviting, with a scenic small creek separating the boundaries between the High School and the park. Parking is poor near the most utilized 60 foot field, but generally sufficient. The baseball facilities themselves are adequate, with dirt infields, but nothing special. The league's other main baseball diamonds are part of the Glenwwod Junior High School grounds, and include a 60 foot diamond and a 90 foot diamond with grass infields. No bleachers are available. Other fields in the area are used as necessary , including fields at local grade schools. North Boise Little League has consistently produced competitive baseball teams, with their 2007 All-Star team taking state championships and playing in San Bernardino, California regional playoffs.
