I received a letter saying there was a bed reserved for me on the Wellcome Short Stay in the Heritage Building .I got everything sorted at home for my stay in hospital. At 5.00 pm da night before I was due to go into hospital I had a phone call and they said there wasn't a bed for me so my operation was going to cancelled. They do not know when the next appointment will be so I have no choice but to wait for da next available appointment. Saying I'm devasted is a understatement. Why say there's a bed RESERVED for me and then 12 hours before I go in say there is no longer a bed for me. I was hoping that by da end of this weekend I was going to pain free.
