Had an appointment over at maternity, was geing faint after waiting for GTT so went to get a drink at the treatment centre as the coffee shop at maternity was closed ..the security guard on the main door was lovely had no problem with me coming in to just grab a drink but the women on the check in desk was very rude and showed no empathy, i explained why i came over and said i just need to grab something sugary she spoke to me like i was a naughty child told.me to wait on he side while she stormed off to get a sachet of sugar......like really, im a heavy pregnant women just wanting to grab a drink cause id been fast since the previous night and i was feeling faint....what happened to patient care and showing a bit of compassion. To make me feel worse she then called over another women who told me off for coming into the treatment centre and said she would allow me this time to get a drink but will now allow again and will be spking to maternity.....i was made to feel very uncomfortable being there , there is no need to talk so rudely to people, even if tbey were not allowed to let me in there, theirs away of explaining and talking to people with respect.

Birmingham Treatment Hospital it's actually for outpatient service for Blood test and X-ray, Patien check ups and medical reviews and Day treatments services, Doctors and Nurses are very friendly and quick service.
Very poor service. I Had postnatal blood test and nurse asked me why I'm having this test she was very rude and angry that she Has to do her job. Completly mockery!
Waiting for 1 hour on the phone and then they just hanging up. Call again and is a 10 over persons in a queue.
Well, I been with my 10 years boy for blood test today and the nurse was not kind for my son not smile on her face, not warm word when even she seen his been in stress.. I tryed be close to my boy she told me to step out! Hope my son will not meet once again this nurse
Went to the paediatric day unit today for son's blood tests. Nurses applied anaesthetic cream which took an hour, so son was playing in the play area. Did not see the doctor until more than an hour later, and he was confused as to what we were here for despite being referred by community paediatrician. We eventually got the bloods done although no drinks offered to my son who was tired (previous patient was given them!).
