Ian was our wedding photographer for our wedding back in September and we can’t recommend him highly enough. He was a recommendation from another photographer and he responded straight away to our emails and initial enquiries. We met him one evening and talked through his work and the packages etc and both came away more than happy signing on the dotted line. Our first experience was the “engagement” shoot - for us this was a while after our engagement but a good excuse to get some nice photos and get to know Ian better. We both went into it a bit nervous and hesitant but his calm and funny demeanour had us relaxed and enjoying it really quickly. We loved the photos that came out of it so knew we were in good hands for the wedding. Leading up to the wedding we exchanged plenty emails about the plans for the day and as usual he responded promptly and answered every question we had. On the day he was organised and struck the perfect blend of hiding in the background and being an active part of the day depending on what was happening. The guests who spoke to him all remarked on how great he was and I’m inclined to agree! All our group photos were done with no hassles and he had the guests laughing and smiling. After the day it was only a few weeks until we got the unedited photos - we had to chose 200 of them to be edited and keep, this was hard but we loved doing it. About a month later we had our final photos back, looking absolutely brilliant with an easy to use online gallery and a lovely box in the post with a USB stick and some prints. A bit of time later he sent us the drafts for the photo album which we’ve just opened and couldn’t be happier. It looks absolutely brilliant and is a wonderful timeless memento of our day. All this for a really reasonable price, couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Ian!

Ian is an amazing, genuine and kind character. He made sure to take mine and my wife’s wishes into account at every moment of our big day and nothing was too much hassle, even when we were messaging him at ungodly hours of the night on the days leading up. He has a great professional manner, is happy to answer any and all questions but can also have a good laugh with you, which happened on a few occasions where my wife decided to go climbing on rocks along the beach for some impromptu shots Our guests had nothing but nice things to say as well as no one thought him intrusive, he was very well hidden throughout the day so guests could enjoy themselves but still managed to get the best album with a variety of shots. It’s almost magical how he does it! We picked the package with an engagement photo shoot as a bonus. We would highly recommend this as for starters it gets you into the feel of how he works and helps you to get to know one another before the big day :) For ours it actually started raining, but instead of cutting the shoot short he got us to leave the beach and carried on in a nearby arcade for what turned out to be the most fun and unique engagement shoot we could have asked for. As ladies who have spent lots of money on arcades during our Uni days in Blackpool this couldn’t have turned out more perfect. We could not recommend anyone better for the job! Thank you Ian for making our big day truly special!
