I have been training with Sensai Sam for over 2 years now and still loving it! I have tried many keep fit activities but nothing has kept my interest like Karate, It’s great for keeping fit, self defence and also your brain!! Sam is an excellence teacher with so much patience and lots of encouragement. It’s also a great sense of achievement at grading to get a belt. Highly recommend it.

I have been attending a women’s karate class now for 1 year. I had no previous experience in any martial art. I knew I wanted to introduce a regular exercise regime to my week. I tried a few different evening classes, but found this quite difficult around my young children’s bedtimes & a husband who works long hours. Finding these day time classes enabled me to train during school hours, freeing up my evenings. Sensei Sam breaks down each move & is extremely patient. If I can do it, anyone can! The added bonus comes with each grading. is The sense of achievement at passing a grading & earning a new belt is an absolute buzz. Which I didn’t get from any spin or Zumba class! Best thing I ever started!
