It's overrated. The overall experience is great, service is excellent but it's expensive and the food is, well, meh. Some items were great (like the shrimp) but a lot were quite average (like the mushroom or the edam cheese). If you pay 35EUR for 15 items, you expect all 15 items to be of high quality. It's perfectly suited for people that care more about boasting to others about their restaurant experience, than they care about the actual food.

Authentic Kushi restaurant in Charlottenburg. Perfectly fried and with delicious homemade sauces. Recommended as Omakase menu including an extremely tasty dessert with matcha / azuki beans ice cream and sesame pudding. ごちそうさまでした!
Good taste, but not a culinary masterpiece, and a really fantastic experience. Recommend sitting at the bar to get a real up close view at the chef's work. Wonderful staff!
Fantastically entertaining kushiage omakase dinner in wonderful company on my first night out in Berlin. The 'few' kushi that I remember include prawn, ginko nuts, quail eggs, chicken breast, scallops, shiitake, miso eggplant, cheese, veal filet, pork tenderloin, duck breast, lotus root, salmon and egg tofu.
