Firstly, really great service. The staff were lovely, smiley, and helpful. The food here was really good. The breakfasts came with giant tomatoes, and were fully loaded. The baked things were also fantastic, delicious Bakewell pudding and tart, great scones, and a phenomenal tea loaf (honestly so fantastic). After eating upstairs we cleared out their baked goods downstairs so we could continue the joy later

Great, friendly service and good sized portions of delicious food. The bread platter with hummus, balsamic vinegar and olives was delicious. We also noted that there are several vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Would definitely recommend.

We queued outside for less than 15 minutes in order for the bakery to meet with Covid guidelines. We wanted to try a fresh Bakewell pudding made the traditional way! The bakery manager was keeping everyone informed of the wait time and was very grateful for everyone’s cooperation. Once inside, there are several souvenirs that can be purchased, but the main event is the Traditional Bakewell pudding. All I can say is, chefs kiss. Delicious.

Ordered a bakewell tart for home delivery. Arrived promptly and was well-packed so survived the journey well. However, very small and therefore not good value for money at all (13!!), tiny amount of jam and an overly-baked filling. Wouldn’t recommend.

Amazing customer service. We had afternoon tea upstairs in the restaurant. Comes with coffee and Prosecco. Priced at 55 it was delicious but we took the top tier home. Personally I’d have smaller portions and reduce the price. But it was a holiday treat and very much enjoyed. Plenty of choice on the menu. Would definitely return.
