This was the perfect socially distant adventure. The general store had a few fun selections of snacks, books, and more. We had a chance to talk to some of the staff who shared some great stories with us. This cute property tucked in a quaint neighborhood felt like escaping the city, but without the drive. I loved getting a chance to learn and see some of the history of Texas, and Austin. While all of homes and displays were nice, my favorite part was the beautiful grounds and trail near Walnut Creek. The tall oak tree had such a great atmosphere, I could walk around there all day. What a nice escape. Recommend coming with a friend or two, bring good walking shoes, and a camera and explore.

Nice day trip place. Several authentic structures around the property. Much larger then it first appears trails take you to the creek and some barns and a local native American camp set up. Some farm animals around, small gift shop/general store. Also offer workshops and their is a working blacksmith shop on site.

Family had a blast visiting. Good walk, looking at these beautiful older homes and barnes.

This is a pretty neat setup. It's sprawling so be ready for a nice stroll between structures. The grounds are also well done, several have chickens, donkeys, or horses. Kids liked feeding the chickens. The y have tons of great classes and workshops too, but look those up

Beautiful small pioneer farm with a variety of services that by many accounts are of quality. Though, this review is in regards to the business / management side of this, and serves as a warning. I had purchased a woodworking course for the next day in October, when attending it was seemingly cancelled, and I was informed to request a reschedule. I had not rescheduled as I was unsure of my availability, and I was Automatically rescheduled for their next class 11/7. I did not attend this class, but contacted the company for a resolution. From here, they refused to reschedule further or provide my funds back, as a matter of policy even considering the situation. All in all, you can plan a great time at Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms; but don't expect flexibility here.
