I lived in the men’s house for a month and i can honestly say this place is the reason i’m sober today. It’s an incredibly comfortable place to plant your feet and transition into sober adulthood. Super kind and caring staff. I consider the people there family.

Ascension House in Austin has given our grandson a new lease on life. The fresh start has provided him a gateway forward to his bright future. The staff have given him the foundation and backing he needs. Especially important in this process has been Chris Mosier and his staff, who have gone out of their way to mentor and get our grandson back on track.

My Son stayed here, and it was such a wonderful and a blessing to him, and to us. For the first time in many years, he is sober, and has been for 10 months now. We are so thankful to all, and for having a wonderful place for them to go too! God Bless You All!

My son has been attempting to regain his life and freedom from addiction. He came to stay at the Ascension house after a 30 day in house rehab program. He ended up staying for 60 days. The staff are kind, but firm, which is what those struggling with addiction need. Because many (if not all) of the staff are in recovery themselves they know how to approach someone who is starting their recovery journey to stay on track. If you had asked my son, while he was living there if he liked it, he may not have said \yes\. It is hard to be held accountable and given parameters when you are used to lying and manipulating to get your way. Looking back, he knows the parameters, rules and wise counsel were what kept him sober. It is not the \thing\ that saved his life, there have been many \things\ and people and programs, but it has been an integral part of his recovery process and had he gone from rehab to the street, or even just sober living I don't think he would be where he is today (alive) and regaining his life.

My son continued his recovery in the Ascension house Austin Texas after a 90 day treatment at the Extra Mile in Mantachie Mississippi Spring of 2019. I am very pleased with mentoring and care he received. Hid did very well after leaving but did relapse. The house manager John reached out to him and personally drove him from Austin Texas back to Mantachie Mississippi Extra mile for treatment. They continue to be there for him. I would highly recommend Ascension house for the continued care and support of your loved one. Sincerely I am, A great full father
