Played the course for the 1st time today with my grandson. Nice layout, good greens, pretty good fairway grass, very playable. Had a really nice round. Shame it's only 9 holes, but you can hit from different tees. Player friendly course.

I play a lot of golf courses in the area. With that said, Asheboro Municipal has the nicest, friendliest staff and patrons around. An excellent course as well. You will love playing golf here and the prices are as low as they get. Five stars.

Anyone who wants to learn the game, improve their shotmaking, or just appreciate an oasis in the middle of Asheboro should come here. An underappreciated Ross classic, feels like a time machine

Wonderful well maintained nine hole golf course which has chosen (pardon the pun) to go against the grain and leave grass in the fairways so when we hit these dog days of summer you are rewarded for a well hit shot without spending time and breaking rythym trying to find a decent placement for your ball before proceeding with your next shot. The greens are well seasoned bent grass giving you a true read every time. The four of five sets of tee markers makes the course a challenge for those of all skill levels. All and all just a great course for the money. The only drawback is for those looking to get in a full 18 holes you will see the same holes twice.
