My daughter is 7 & has only been attending these classes for 5 months now but she loves them! We liked the fact the first month was free. The teachers are all patient & encouraging with her. The group is mixed ability, she really looks up to the black belts. There is a mixture of adults, children & families. We’d recommend this group to others.

My 9 years old son really enjoys his karate lessons in Ashby,all teachers are friendly and approchable.He is learning discipline,perseverance and how to defend himself which is great to watch.

I would rate this club 2.5 stars: on the low average side. I observed some skilled younger students but overall the club standard is low and I noticed the following: Failure to take a register at the start of the session. A serious omission for any amateur sports club. Failure of the instructor to attend to basic details: such as tidiness of uniform, correctly tied belt. The senior grades aside, this looked a very rag bag assembly. And finally the coaching was lacking in structure (no lesson plan) and with that no chance to practice and improve basics. No attention to fist positions, knife hands that resembled a wet fish and no attention to stance. Not recommended. Better clubs are available
