Food here is delicious, big hearty portions and makes a great place for a casual dinner. The Poutine with beef is worth drooling over and you get a huge plate of it. The tempura fish with avocado is great too. Staff are also really friendly and give a really warm welcome.
Such a hidden gem! Found this place by searching online, it had a great rating and the food looked & sounded amazing. So glad we gave it a try. If you love classic southern American food then this is the place for you! The overall theme/atmosphere is great and works with the layout of the whole place. Pictured here are the Ribs main (apparently their usual supplier had fallen through so they had slightly different ribs on as a special but they were basically the same thing) and the Poutine, both of which were excellent. The BBQ sauce on the ribs was particularly tasty, I definitely want to buy some! I wasn't keen on the hush puppies that came with most of the mains but that's a personal taste, not that I had room for them anyway! Really wish we could have tried the beignets as they sounded great but we were stuffed. Next time! *Make sure you book a table in advance, we went on a Saturday night and they had to turn people away as they were fully booked. Placed a large order on a very busy Friday night, because it’s takeout we had it in the car. I have to say the chicken was out of this world - crispy coating, moist chicken delicious bbq sauce. Kids had popcorn chicken and brownies for dessert and they polished off the whole lot. Can’t wait till next week think this will be my top food place to go. Well done maggies grill, top service in unprecedented times.
Sad we can't actually dine with you guys as we love the hustle of your place!! My partners bday wouldn't be the same without his bourbon chicken!! So so happy you guys are still trading, by far the best place in Aberdeen
